This park appears to be on its way out. We noticed what appeared to be a zoning change sign, couldn't get a close look since it faced into a canal. They are not maintaining the grounds, grass had grown over the sewer hookup on our site, lots of trashy looking units. Appears to be more of a campground for construction types and several long term residents. We would have been better off in a Wal-Mart parking lot.
As beach campgrounds go this one is middle of the road. Nice pier for fishing, bait shop on-site. Camp sites are not paved, found it difficult to negotiate some of the turns in our 38' bus, can't imagine working a 40'+ rig into anything but a site on the end of a row. The water scenery is great, cruise ships use the port, some very nice seafood restaurants nearby, especially Grills.
